As part of this assignment we have to create a stop motion in groups with a maximum of three people in the group. This part of the assignment will help improve our communication skills and our teamwork.

Stop Motion
Definition of a stop motion film - A stop motion is an animation technique to make a phsically inanimate object move on its own, the object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of images are played as a continuous sequence.
How to create a stop motion;
1. Take photos - Set up the camera on a tripod and make sure there is enough room in the shot for the objects to move how you want, start taking photographs, after every shot move the objects slightly and then take another photos, continue to do this until you have created what you want to do.
2. Upload photos - Upload your photos onto the computer and then open up Adobe Premiere Pro and create a new project, name your project and then click ok.
3. Import photos - Double click in the left hand box to import your photos, select the photos you want and then click import.
4. Create the sequence - Once the photos have imported, select them all by using alt & A, or selecting the first photo, holding the shift and then selecting the last photo. When you have selected them all drag them into the timeline area.
5. Duration/speed of images - Select the sequence and then right click, select 'speed/duration' and type n what you want.
6. Change size of all images - Select the sequence and right click, select 'scale to frame size'
7. Add audio - Click on file/import, add the web address of the audio is coming from and click ok, once imported drag it into your timeline.
8. Render - If there is a red bar on your timeline you need to render it else it will not work properly, do this by clicking sequence>render entire work area.
9. Export - When your stop motion is complete you need to export it, you can do this by clicking file>export>media or clicking cmd>m
First attempt;
This is our first attempt of a stop motion, I am happy with how it turned out however I think it could definitely be improved by using a tripod and making sure Abbie's hands/knees don't appear in the frame. Also we could improve it by making sure we remove both of the laces at the same time at the end rather than removing one then the other. However i am happy with how this turned out and we are hoping to us this idea for our main stop-motion but we will expand on it more. A total of 146 photos were taken to create this 20 second video.
